Power of Associations Awards Entry Form
Entering your organization in the Power of Associations Awards program has never been easier! Simply follow these steps:
Fill out the entry form as completely as possible. The Power of Associations judges rely heavily on this form to evaluate your program, so please be sure to provide all of the information requested and please think carefully about which category best fits your program. The form also provides the opportunity to link to reports, websites or other supporting materials. If your entry is selected for a Summit Award, ASAE may ask you for video or pictures of your activity to use at the Summit Awards Dinner.
Focus on the Program Description. Be as concise as possible, but take care to explain thoroughly how your program advances America and the world or some segment of society. Following a brief synopsis of the program or activity, it would be appropriate to provide some information in the following three areas:
Reach of Project or Program: Award-winning entries offer original or effective solutions to today’s societal or business problems. Such programs often involve the association’s members and/or volunteers and have a broad impact on an industry, profession, or affected community. These programs may be local, national, or international in scope.
Embodying the Power of Associations: Award-winning entries demonstrate how the initiative embodies The Power of Associations by leveraging their available resources to address an identified need. Programs will tell the story of how associations were able to go above and beyond their everyday, core mission to achieve extraordinary, measurable results.
Objectives and Outcomes: Award-winning entries generate results that achieve the association’s defined and measurable objectives. Results could demonstrate how the program or project, for example, illustrates an association’s vision for success, elevate their profession’s or industry’s image, protect the interests of their members, can be an easily replicated model for other organizations and/or showcase the important work of associations.
Concentrate on the need, the activity’s goal, its impact (in terms of outcomes), and the significance of its success. Numbers are very important as measurements of success, but also describe how the activity improved the lives of those involved or how it benefited society.
Feel free to submit multiple entries for different association programs! However, do not submit the same program in multiple categories.
There is a $50 fee per entry. Associations based outside of the United States do not have to pay the entry fee. For U.S. associations, complete the payment information on the next screen to finish the application process.
